This report starts with information on the status and development of reference materials for various antibiotics, antibodies, antigens, blood products, cytokines, growth factors and endocrinological substances. The second part of the report gives in detail the requirements for Vi polysaccharide typhoid vaccine; for collection, processing and quality control of blood, blood components and plasma derivatives; and for live measles, mumps, rubella and combined vaccines. The report also includes some amendments to the requirements of rabies vaccine for human and veterinary use.
